Ryan Cadwell, CCIM, CPM, is Co-Founder & CEO of Resolute RDM, the Indianapolis-based real estate firm he co-founded in 2008, specializing in commercial investment, brokerage, and property management. Over 18 years, he has built a practice spanning income-producing assets, investment strategy, asset management, syndications, and ground-up development across the Indiana and Missouri MSAs, including more than $25 million in construction and redevelopment delivered for investors. He currently serves as General Partner of Aero Landing Development, a 242-unit build-to-rent community in Lebanon, Missouri, developed in partnership with the city and supported by TIF participation.
Ryan earned his CCIM designation in 2026, adding it to his CPM designation from IREM, an Indiana broker’s license, and continuing education through Cornell’s Real Estate Development program and Harvard Business School Online’s Negotiation Mastery course. In September 2026, he begins the Executive Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, where he was named a Daniels Scholar with a merit-based scholarship. His practice is deliberately consultative: fixed-fee advisory work built on the CCIM analytical framework, helping owners answer the hold-or-sell, lease-or-own, and where-next questions before any transaction. He also writes The Resolute Brief, a newsletter on commercial real estate decision-making, and publishes at ryancadwell.com.
Before real estate, Ryan spent his early career in youth and college ministry and coached high school baseball for five years, and he has never really left the people development business. He serves as Board Treasurer of 91 Place, an Indiana nonprofit fighting youth homelessness, and facilitates the Strategic Investor Series, an investor education program he built and runs with community development organizations. He previously served as a Planning Commissioner for the Town of Pittsboro.
Ryan lives just north of Indianapolis with his wife, Lanell. Away from work he is usually hiking, lifting, or reading history and philosophy, and he remains a die-hard Red Sox season ticket holder, proof that a Midwesterner can adopt New England’s better traditions.
